The company was formed in 1999 after a merger of Te Kuiti-based Waitomo Civil Construction and New Plymouth's Northgate Construction.The company offers proven infrastructural asset management in several broad areas, being:
- Roading construction & maintenance
- Quarrying
- Earthworks
- Vegetation control
- Water, drainage and sewerage
- Infrastructure maintenance
An ongoing purchasing and replacement programme has resulted in a modern fleet of quality plant and machinery. The fleet is supported by the company's own maintenance workshops, and by a long-term staff training programme to develop in-house expertise.
