Inframax Construction Ltd has an enviable record of success, working in some of New Zealand's most difficult geographical and climatic conditions.


The Regions are subject to high rainfall and unstable ground conditions. Frequent slips on the roading network demand immediate attention. The company has established depots in New Plymouth, Mokau, Taumarunui, Te Kuiti, Wanganui and Feilding allowing it to provide an excellent 24-hour emergency service.

Our staff, with their broad local knowledge and experience, provide on-site expert advice and an ability to recommend cost-effective and proven maintenance options for local conditions.

The company currently maintains in excess of 3000kms of roads throughout some of New Zealand's most rugged terrain. In association with Transfield Maintenance, Inframax Construction won New Zealand's first performance-specified highway maintenance contract, covering more than 400kms of state highways between Hamilton, New Plymouth and Taumarunui.

A large number of staff are employed within the construction and maintenance division. These staff have expertise in bitumen and emulsion sealing, lime and cement stabilisation, earthworks, pavement construction, drainage works and concrete works.

Inframax is fully equipped with a specialised roadside vegetation control division, plus two specialist sealing crews. All plant is maintained at strategically located mechanical workshops, and by dedicated field staff service vehicles. Inframax is committed to partnering with clients and consultants to achieve the best possible results for all parties.
